Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Astro क्या है? collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by Invaya Systems (OPC) Private Limited ("we"), H.No. 11.51, Baladia, Taluka Bhuj, Kachchh, Gujarat 370427, India, which decides how your data is used (the data fiduciary).

1. What we collect

When you send a question:

• your email address
• your name, if you choose to give it
• your birth date, birth time and birth place, and the place's map id and time zone if you pick it from the list
• your question, its Ref #, and the answer Guruji writes

When you pay for a question: the amount, the date and the payment reference. We never see your card details or UPI PIN.

When you visit: our hosting keeps request logs (IP address, browser, page and time) for about 30 days, for security and to fix problems. The public pages set no cookies and use no ads or tracking.

We don't ask for your phone number.

2. Why we use it

• To answer your question: Guruji makes your birth chart from your birth details.
• To send the answer and payment details to your email.
• To know whether a question is a person's first, which costs nothing, or a later one, which is paid.
• To take payments, issue GST invoices and keep the accounts the law requires.
• To keep the site secure.

You consent to this by ticking the box on the question form and sending your question. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or send you marketing.

3. Who sees it

• Guruji, who answers.
• A small team that handles payments and support. They see your email, birth details and question, but not your name.
• Service providers who store or carry the data for us:
  • Google Firebase (Google Cloud), which hosts the site and stores the questions in Singapore. Your data is therefore stored outside India.
  • Google Maps: what you type in the birth place search is sent to Google to find the place, under the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Our email provider, which carries the answer and payment emails.
  • Banks and payment providers, for payments and refunds.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

• A question, with the birth details, name and answer stored with it, is deleted automatically 6 months after we receive it.
• The emails between us, including the answer, stay in your mailbox and ours. Ask us and we delete ours.
• To know that a person has already asked, we keep a one-way code made from the email address and from the birth details. The email address or birth details cannot be read back from it.
• Payment records and invoices are kept for as long as tax law requires.

5. Keeping it safe

Data travels over encrypted connections. Only signed-in staff can see questions, and the browser can't read the database directly. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

6. Someone else's details

The service is for people aged 18 or older. If you send someone else's birth details, you must have their permission, or be the parent or guardian of the child whose details you send.

7. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what data we hold about you and who we shared it with
• correct or complete it
• delete it, which also withdraws your consent; we then can't answer a question still waiting
• let someone else act for you if you die or can't act yourself

8. Complaints

Our grievance officer is Shekhar Suman (support@astrokyahai.com). We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
